Thursday, February 18th, 2016
7:30pm | FreeWe still have a few seats left – please join us on Thursday, February 18th, to hear Tim Peck share with us his insights into the world’s best-known mystery writer.
Agatha Christie (1890 – 1976) wrote 66 detective novels, 14 short story collections, radio plays and stage dramas (including the world’s longest-running play – The Mousetrap), 7 books under pseudonym, and her autobiography.
Her books have sold more than a billion copies in the English language and another billion in over 40 foreign languages; Agatha Christie’s books are outsold only by The Bible and Shakespeare.
Her literary awards include Dame of the British Empire and an honorary degree of Doctor of Literature from Oxford University.
Plus, she’s just a darn good read.
Tim Peck will discuss her life, her books, and her first editions.
If you have not already done so, please RSVP to hold a space. There is no charge to attend and light refreshments will be served.
