1342 Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek
Corners Tavern opens in the former Bing Crosby’s space next to Macy’s and La Boulange Bakery in downtown Walnut Creek. I was able to attend a pre-opening event over the weekend and the place looks amazing. The food was delicious as well. I’ve rarely heard so many “mmms” at an opening. You can see the dinner menu here. Be sure to check out the wine and drink menus as well.
Check out the lounge areas as you walk in towards your left:
There are three separate lounge areas separated by antique snake cages that you have to see. It’s pretty incredible what the designers came up with.
The 16 beers on tap include a double chocolate stout. I tried one from North Coast Brewing Company called Squid Ink and it was great.
