Well, that was fast. The Walnut Creek police was able to interview a suspect who confessed to writing on the windows of banks. Here’s the press release:
As a result of yesterday’s press release, callers and other law enforcement personnel identified the subject in question as Jared Bedecarre. Bedecarre was interviewed by the Walnut Creek Police Department on 11/22/11 and confessed to writing on the windows of banks in Walnut Creek, Clayton, Concord and Pleasant Hill. Bedecarre is active in the “Occupy Movement” and stated he was attempting to get a message out but did not intend to damage any of the banks. Bedecarre was not arrested and the cases will be turned over to the District Attorney’s office for review of possible charges.
