7:30amWe are excited to host this event once again in 2014. When we started this event in 2010, some people said it would never last. Well here we are as we happily await the 5th Running of the Oakland Running Festival! The has become a huge success with more than 9,000 runners this year and tremendous community support. The
event has generated more than $8.5 million in economic impact and $750,000 for local charities.
We are excited that you will be joining us for this special anniversary year. We are proud of the fact that our event was voted Best of the West for 2013 by readers of Competitor Magazine and recently featured in Runner’s World
. Quite an accomplishment for our little event!
We are gearing up for another great year. We will once again have our center of race day activities in Snow Park, located just off the shores of majestic Lake Merritt. This location provides us plenty of
