Lyric, Walnut Creek
In 2022, we learned that champagne bar Fizz would by coming to Lyric in downtown Walnut Creek, and they have now opened! The grand opening will be on July 12th but members can enjoy champagne now. They did mention availability to non-members depending on space availability. Check out their menu here.

Chateau by Honey+Brie, a Parisian inspired cocktail lounge featuring small bites & seasonal offerings, is coming to downtown Walnut Creek early next year where Papyrus used to be over almost a decade ago. Check for updates on their website here, and Insta here.
Orinda Theatre Square
Thanks to a reader for sending word that tiki bar Boo Loo Lounge opened recently at Orinda Theatre Square where Cine Cuvée used to be.
Martinez
Thanks to a reader for sending word and photo that Bentley’s Container Bar is having a grand opening in Martinez on July 28th, according to their Insta, “located in the Back Patio of Market & Main in a converted Shipping Container next to Five Suns Brewing.” Grand opening this Friday, July 28th, “cocktails, martinis, whiskey flights”.
Downtown Pleasant Hill Shopping Center
Tracy-based Morgan Territory Brewing opened last month at Downtown Pleasant Hill Shopping Center. Check out their beer selection here. According to their Facebook page, outside food is permitted and kids and pets are welcome!

The wine bar Buon Vino, which closed in downtown Walnut Creek in May, has now reopened in a new downtown spot where Impulse Room used to be. Check out their website here.
312 Railroad Ave, Danville
A new Napa-based wine tasting lounge/store called The Find (previously Nomad Vintners) is opening in Danville on March 6th. Find out more about the vintners and the wines they’ll feature here. The inside feels quite spacious with various areas to hang out including a separate room for more private tastings.
