New, 3-week long Saturday classes run from March 9-March 23 and April 13-27! The Signs of Spring class in March lets children discover how plants bloom, insects hatch, reptiles move, birds migrate and mammals get ready for babies as California wakens from the winter. The Water Explorations class in April lets young children have fun discovering the mysteries of water and water mixtures, and get a little wet in the process. 7pm | $35 advance, $40 at doorFor the fourth year, San Francisco’s laugh-lovers will have the renewed opportunity to enjoy a champagne-filled night of comedy at the landmark Orinda Theatre on Friday, March 8th. The Orinda Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Tommy T’s Comedy Clubs today announced the fourth “Live at the Orinda” event. Past events gained rave reviews for a great night on the town.
The evening will start at 7:00 p.m. and feature no host bars in the lobby and theatre. Champagne, wine and mixed drinks can also be purchased during the performances, starting at 8:00 p.m. with a mid-show intermission. Master of Ceremonies Wayne Coy, 92.1 KKDV radio personality, will open the show and introduce comedians. This year’s slate features Kabeezy, David Van Avermaete, Arthur Gaus and headliner Will Durst, who The New York Times calls “possibly the best political comic in the country” returning fresh from a recent tour with all new material.
