It’s a film that opens in New York City April 26th, Mountain Shadow is bringing the West Coast premiere of the new biopic, “Jeremiah Tower: The Great Magnificent.” to Walnut Creek audiences in early April!
From Executive Producer, Anthony Bourdain, comes the fascinating story of the first real celebrity chef and one of the most influential figures in the emerging California cuisine movement, starting at Berkeley’s renowned Chez Panisse in 1972. Jeremiah Tower went on to launch his own legendary Stars Restaurant in San Francisco, then walked away and disappeared for nearly two decades. It’s a bio-pic journey of self-discovery familiar to anyone who has ever imagined themselves to be an artist. Rated-R, Documentary, 102 min.
The film will be shown four times at the Walnut Creek Library, 1644 N. Broadway: Fri. April 7th at 7:30 PM, Sat., April 8th at 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM, and Sat., April 15th, at 7:30 PM.
A limited number of general admission tickets are available for $12 on a first come basis, beginning 30 minutes before show times.
