150 Hartz Avenue, Danville
The Chinese restaurant Wonderland, which opened last year in Danville, is closing within the next few weeks. Their San Francisco location will remain open and stay tuned for a new Chinese restaurant called Nanking Bistro that will be opening here….
120 West Linda Mesa, Danville
Gingerlily, a new home decor and gift shop that also offers chalk paint and macrame workshops has opened at the restored Austin Root house in Danville. Previously they were partly located in The Bloom Space which closed a few months ago. Check for updates on the Instagram page here.

Earlier this year Portland-based unisex hair care shop Bishops Cuts & Color opened in downtown Walnut Creek and they are also going to be opening in Danville Square where Trader Joe’s is located. The eyewear and accessories store Look + See, which opened a couple of years ago at the Danville Hotel Town Center between Hartz Ave. and Railroad Ave is closing soon. As you can see in the store window most things are currently 60% off.
