Danny Sullivan is a former Indycar and Formula 1 race car driver whose racing career spanned two decades. He raced at Indianapolis 12 times, winning the Indianapolis 500 in 1985 in spectacular fashion with what became known as the “spin and win.” In 1988 Sullivan won the Michigan 500 and went on to win the CART Indycar series title for Roger Penske.
Danny worked on ABC/ESPN as a color commentator, raced at 24 Hours of Le Mans and had a video game released by Nintendo, Danny Sullivan’s Indy Heat, before he finally retired from racing in 1995. Sullivan was inducted into the Motorsports Walk of Fame in 2011.
