The cowboy store Golden Gate Western Wear is closing their Pleasant Hill store at the end of November or beginning of December. The sign advertises up to 70% off so stop by if you’re looking for a pair of cowboy boots or hat. If you can’t make it there in time, their Richmond store on San Pablo Ave. is still open.

The California Greek restaurant Daphne’s has closed in downtown Pleasant Hill on Crescent Dr. Their Walnut Creek location in Ygnacio Plaza where Sports Basement is located is still open.
According to the Pleasant HIll architectural commission it will be replaced by Yalla Mediterranean with proposed changes such as new colors, a new entrance canopy and a new trellis feature.

Thanks to everyone who sent in word about Lucky supermarket closing in the Crescent Plaza in downtown Pleasant Hill. They will be closing on November 8th and according to one employee it will be replaced with an Orchard supply hardware store. Stay tuned…
Looks like there’s going to be a huge clock in the Pleasant Hill Clock Tower building on Crescent Drive in downtown Pleasant Hill where the clothing store Atlas & Athena is located. Check out the original, smaller clock here.

Back in May we learned that Pieology Pizzeria was coming to the Crossroads Shopping Center in Pleasant Hill and they opened in late June. Check out their menu here. I wonder how this’ll stack up to Project Pie opening up in Walnut Creek?
15 Crescent Dr, Pleasant Hill
Jack’s Restaurant and Bar is planning on opening a new beer bar with separate entrance behind their current location in downtown Pleasant Hill on Crescent Drive where Golden Nails Salon used to be. According to the owner they’re looking to get, “at least 20 tap handles and maybe some tap wines”. There will also be an opening inside to move back and forth between the restaurant and beer bar. The DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse that we learned was coming to the Crossroads Shopping Center in Pleasant Hill be opening October 23rd.

The clock tower is getting remodeled where the clothing store Atlas & Athena is located in the Pleasant Hill shopping center on Crescent Drive. As you can see in the photo below Atlas & Athena is open during construction. Check out their website here.
