Cars haven’t been allowed on the main street at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek for a while now, but recently they opened back up and as seen in the above photo, cars may freely pass. I wonder what it would be like had condos opened here with the street closed to traffic? Better or worse?

Thanks to everyone who sent word that Indian restaurant The Yellow Chilli is coming to downtown Walnut Creek where Sultanâs Kebab used to be. According to a sign in the window, they have locations in Danville and Livermore. Check out their Danville menu here.

Thanks to a reader for sending word (and photo) that Louis Vuitton, which we learned would be coming to Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek, has opened. Check out their online selection here. I’m not sure what this means, but the Walnut Creek store offers fragrance engraving and hot stamping.

In March, we learned that CREAM would be closing in downtown Walnut Creek, and the official closing date will be on July 16th. Their Concord location will remain open. Check out their menu here.
