Just in time for Christmas Santa has arrived to Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek to provide cheer and photographs to all. I think this is the nicest Santa storefront I’ve seen so far in Broadway Plaza.

In April we learned that Capital One Cafe would be opening their first East Bay location in downtown Walnut Creek where the GAP used to be and progress is ongoing. For those not aware, Capital One Cafe is a casual style bank with a coffee shop, free wifi and meeting room spaces.
They will feature Peet’s coffee as well as local baked goods. What’s great is that for those with a Capital One card you can get 50% off Peet’s coffee. Free, semi-private working areas will be available on a first come, first serve basis and community spaces can be reserved by non-profits for free as well.

$30 – $40Kick off your holiday season with members of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus at the beautiful Lesher Center for the Arts!
Known for its warm, rich choral tones and over-the-top productions, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus continues its tradition of bringing holiday cheer to the East Bay with its December 3rd show in Walnut Creek. The show features all four vocal ensembles of the Chorus: The Lollipop Guild, Vocal Minority, SWAG and HomoPhonics.
Expect plenty of upbeat, show-stopping numbers, stunningly beautiful choral pieces, and updated, modern takes on old favorites – all done with SFGMC’s trademark humor and flair. Think “A Chorus Line” meets “The Nutcracker,” Pentatonix and Mariah Carey, crossing genre and dishing up a delightful program of gorgeous holiday music.
Running Time: approx. 90 minutes, without an intermission
This looks promising… They also offer workshops.
