The Broadway Plaza store closings continue apace as another women’s boutique, Diva-Diva will be closing in January. The closing sign states that everything is 20% off right now.

Civic Arts Education’s Shadelands auditorium, 111
N. Wiget Lane, will feature art glass, ceramics,
jewelry, paintings, photography, textiles and more.
Hours are Dec. 6 from 5-9 p.m., and 10 a.m. to
6 p.m. on Dec. 7 and 8. The Clay Studio at Civic
Park features ceramics for home and garden. Hours
are Dec. 6 from 5 p.m.to 9 p.m.; Dec. 7 from 10
a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The shoe store Ecco is closing in Broadway Plaza but plans to return in the Fall of 2015 when the backside of Broadway Plaza reopens. This is just one of many store closing announcements happening in Broadway Plaza recently.
From the Walnut Creek PD:
On 11/29/13 at 1707 hours, the Bank of America located in the Rossmoor shopping center reported a robbery had just occurred. The suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money. Once the money was given, the suspect fled the bank on foot. A witness reported seeing someone matching the suspect description run to a nearby vehicle. The vehicle is described as a white, possibly Honda with tinted windows and tinted rear reflectors. No weapons were seen or simulated.
Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or knows the suspect is asked to call the Walnut Creek Police Department at (925) 943-5844.
Suspect: White male adult, mid-20’s, approximately 6’ tall, thin-medium build, light brown goatee, wearing a long sleeved striped shirt with a dark collar and a camoflauge baseball cap.
