A new restaurant called Twisted Times Restaurant, Sports, and Spirits is planning on opening this summer in Walnut Creek where Tullio’s Italian Restaurant used to be. Check out their menu here.
From their website:
Twisted Times Restaurant, Sports, and Spirits is a concept created to provide a unique and fun family themed concept designed to be flexible and dynamic in its location choices, growth, and development. In today’s highly competitive environment, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to differentiate one restaurant concept from another. Our small plate concept will keep allowing for a unique opportunity for guests to enjoy many different options in one dining experience or choose to focus on a few options to create their own full entrée menu item.
The Orchards at Walnut Creek
Last month we learned that the restaurant Thai Thani would be coming to the Orchards shopping center in Walnut Creek and as you can see in the above photo they are planning to open this month. What I find interesting is this will be both a Thai AND Japanese restaurant and even has two names! Thai Thani and Oishi. I’ve never heard of something like this before but did learn that a previous location in Tampa, Florida closed a couple of years ago. According to the Tampa Bay Newswire, “quality and simple, locally harvested and grown, ingredients are the basis for each dish created and feature common flavorings of traditional Thai and Japanese cuisine.”
