When I saw that Dough Zone would be coming to downtown Walnut Creek where Veggie Grill used to be, I thought to myself, interesting, a dessert place that feature mochi donuts or possibly cookie dough like Out the Dough in Concord, but it turns out I was way off base as this is a dumpling house like Dumpling Hours, a few blocks away.
Check out their menu here. I look forward to the soup dumplings, Xiao Long Bao, which I assumed were called Shanghai dumplings. No matter what they’re called, I can’t get enough of them!
