Last November, we learned that Ohio-based Handel’s Ice Cream would be coming to downtown Walnut Creek and they’ll be opening on April 25th. Check out the Walnut Creek menu here (scroll down to view). I found out the ice cream will be made right on-site in the back, so I’m looking forward to trying this place out, just in time for summer!
Orchards Shopping Center, Walnut Creek
Last December, we learned that Devil & Angel would be coming to the Orchards shopping center in Walnut Creek, and they have now opened. Check out their soft serve menu here, boba menu here, and mochi doughnut menu here. They also offer tanghulu candied fruit which looks quite interesting.
The Veranda, Concord
J.Crew may have left Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, but J.Crew Factory opened at The Veranda in Concord. Check out their online selection here.

The Breakfast Club, which opened at Ygnacio Plaza in Walnut Creek, is coming to Lafayette Clocktower where Patxi’s Pizza used to be.

The ice cream shop Humphry Slocombe opened at the Veranda shopping center in Concord where Popbar used to be, next to Mrs. Pho. Check out their flavors here. I’m curious what their “dirty floats” taste like. I think they all sound great:

Pedego Electric Bike Shop, which opened over a year ago at Park Plaza Shops in Lafayette, has closed.
