Several years ago I pointed out that Whole Foods in Lafayette sold black “water infused with fulvic acid”. Now I see they sell Drinking Vinegar. Whenever I see this drink I think about having a salad. ?

As you can see from these photos I’ve been noticing signs for single-person bathrooms meant for anyone to use labeled as “All-Gender”, “Gender Neutral” etc. Considering that only one person can use them at a time why not just label it “Restroom”? What do you make of these new bathroom signs?
When I saw the “Gender Neutral Restroom” sign below that still had the Women’s symbol on the door itself I felt so awkward that I walked to the other side to go to the Men’s Gender Neutral restroom instead.

I love burgers. Last week I even posted a question of the day about favorite burgers. So when Burger Lounge opened late last month in the Orchards shopping center in Walnut Creek I figured I’d drop by one day to see how the burgers are. While waiting in line at the typical looking fast, casual restaurant that are so popular these days, little did I know what was in store.
Yes, Burger Lounge uses high quality, grass-fed ground beef. Yes, they use organic grilled onions and white cheddar cheese. Check out their menu here. But the key in this case was the smashed griddled-style burger cooking method. Different than the tavern/pub plump and juicy burger that I’ve become accustomed to, the smashed burger I tried at Burger Lounge was so deliciously yummy I couldn’t believe it! My son who is known to be a brutal cheeseburger critic agreed. This is a dang tasty hamburger!
I’ve featured a few of the artistic wraps for utility boxes around downtown Walnut Creek but this may be my favorite. Have you ever wondered how many utility boxes there are in Walnut Creek, or maybe when the first utility box appeared? How about what utility boxes do? That’s what I was expecting when I dialed (925) 322-6427 and dutifully pressed 628#, but alas, it was information about the utility box art wrap project itself. 🙂
