Thanks to a reader for sending word that Yogurt Spot ❄️opened recently at Rossmoor Town Center in Walnut Creek, between Starbucks and El Jardin Taqueria. In addition to frozen yogurt, they also feature gelato and shaved ice. Check out their menu here.
Last Friday, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the constitutional right to an abortion after almost 50 years. Although it won’t affect abortion access in California, the procedure will be banned in about half the states. Do you agree with decision, and if so, do you think it should be banned in all states? If you don’t agree with this decision, what will you do? Protest? Vote? Donate? Something else?

Lower WC prices but a variety of generous taco fillings. Street food items like burritos and tortas dominate (good), the combo plate options are a little hazy and not my taste. A salsa bar is also available (no Tabasco seen).
Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek
In April, we learned that the shoe store Dr. Martens would be coming to Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek and their signage is now up, indicating a summer opening. Check out their online shop here.
Summer has begun, and there are several movies I’d like to see on the big screen, including Top Gun Maverick, Jurassic World Dominion, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Everything Everywhere All at Once. Although I still don’t feel comfortable with Covid still spreading, I think I’d go if I wore a mask. At least for Top Gun. What movies are you planning to watch on the big screen this summer?
