Last year’s coronavirus pandemic saw street parking spots turned into restaurant patios, which has proven quite popular especially as the weather turns nice. When the pandemic finally ends, should restaurants be allowed to keep these dining patios, possibly for a fee? Or should they be turned back to parking spots?

They used to have several stores in Maui, Hawaii but they have now relocated to Walnut Creek which is great news for those interested in Hawaiian goods. With Contra Costa now in the more permissive Orange Tier, and almost one million COVID-19 vaccine doses given, things are on the up and up. This week I got my first dose at DVC. It was Pfizer, thankfully, and thought everything went smoothly. Although I heard stories about soreness etc. I felt nothing at all, at least so far. Apparently the second dose is more impactful though. If you’ve been vaccinated, how was the process for you?
