We believed that fried chicken hadn’t reached its true potential, too often being heavy, greasy and featuring the same old flavors.
We began with quality, trustworthy ingredients and real scratch cooking, taking antibiotic-free chicken raised in our Bay Area backyard and hand-breading it in our secret blend of gluten-free flour and spices.
With the presidential election almost two weeks away, millions of votes have already been cast. Last night there were separate presidential candidate town halls and I really can’t imagine the choice being any clearer one way or another. A family member mentioned a friend who was undecided, and when I heard their reasoning, I was frankly shocked. Are you still undecided or know anyone who is undecided? What reasoning do they give?

Above will be mixed use development with over 110 condos and about 15,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space. In the building at left, back is where Swan’s Fine Books used to be. Check out their online shop here.
According to this NBC Bay Area News article, “armed security guards hired by anti-abortion activists pepper-sprayed counter protesters” at the Walnut Creek Planned Parenthood center yesterday. I’ve driven by these protesters many times in the past and it was always empty around there. I wonder how this escalated?
From the article:
Both sides appear intent on standing their ground. Walnut Creek police declined to arrest or cite anyone. They’re investigating and say they’ll submit their reports to the District Attorney.

I asked this question over five years ago and am revisiting it again. Listening to Apple Music, artists I’ve discovered and enjoy listening to are Cage the Elephant, France Gall, Kate Bush, Leon Russell, Nina Simone, Portugal. The Man, Suzie Quatro, The Sweet, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. What are your favorite musical artists or bands right now?
