In March, we learned that CREAM would be closing in downtown Walnut Creek, and the official closing date will be on July 16th. Their Concord location will remain open. Check out their menu here.

Thanks to everyone who sent word that chef owner Rodney Worth’s Peasant & the Pear is coming to the Mercer where The Counter used to be. The restaurant name will be The Little Pear and their menu can be viewed here.

Orinda Theatre Square
Last month, we learned that Starbucks closes at Orinda Theatre Square, and next door, Subway has also closed.
1320 Locust St, Walnut Creek
After over eight years, Veggie Grill has closed in downtown Walnut Creek. Interestingly, the mailbox visible in the above photo didn’t exist when the restaurant first opened. This location used to be a post office so I imagine they needed to put a mailbox in its place?
Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek
