Lafayette Forge
Thanks to a reader for pointing out that Headlands Brewing is opening a taproom at the Lafayette Forge where the Lafayette Art Gallery used to be, next to Bonehead’s Texas BBQ. You may remember years ago that Lamorinda Taphouse was going to open at the backside of the Lafayette Forge… Check out Headlands Brewing beer selection here and follow the progress on their Insta here.

Our indoor and outdoor design plan for the new brewery will feature a taproom with a 20-tap floating draught tower, two outdoor patios with fire pits and family-friendly open landscaping. We will proudly feature small batch ales exclusively available at the brewery, as well as guest beers, local wines and ciders, and a light, creative food program.
The Shops at Todos Santos, Concord
About one year ago Fire Wings opened at The Shops at Todos Santos in Concord but they have now closed.

Thanks to a reader for sending word that Taqueria Limon 3 is coming soon to downtown Walnut Creek where Home of Chicken and Waffles used to be. Taqueria Limon is based in Fremont with another restaurant in Martinez. Check out the online menu for their Martinez restaurant here.

The Veranda, Concord
Late last year we learned that Devil & Angel Soft Ice Cream & Milk Tea Bar would be coming to The Veranda in Concord and they have now opened. I love both soft ice cream and boba so I really look forward to trying this place out. You can order online here.
