Alamo Plaza
E.J. Phair Brewing Company, with locations in Concord and Pittsburg, opened a pub recently at Alamo Plaza. Check out the nice patio section on the side in the photo below.

The Shops at Todos Santos, Concord
Yesterday we learned that BurgerIM opened at The Shops at Todos Santos in Concord and Fire Wings opened as well, right next door. Check out their menu here. There is a wraparound patio out front and to the side, with plenty of outdoor seating.

1421 Locust St, Walnut Creek
The cafe Brioche de Paris opened recently in downtown Walnut Creek. They offer, “authentic French pastries, sandwiches, crepes, and artisan coffee”; the cafe was quite packed when I dropped by over the weekend, with plenty of seating and the great lighting. Check out their Instagram here.
