The backside of Broadway Plaza is looking more and more like a ghost town as the time until the redevelopment begins and now the shoe store Clarks has closed. According to a sign in the window they will reopen in Broadway Plaza in 2016. You can still visit their other stores in the Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton and the Westfield in San Francisco.
1403 N. Main St, Walnut Creek
More signage has gone up at Jos. A. Bank in downtown Walnut Creek at the corner of N. Main St. and Cypress St. as it opens today.
The jeans shop 7 For All Mankind has closed in Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. Considering this is located next to Lacoste which recently closed to make room for a Tesla showroom it looks like this may be used by Tesla as well.
For jeans there is still Lucky Brand and True Religion right around the corner where the fountain is.
1519 Cypress St, Walnut Creek
Back last August I noted that the electronic cigarette shop Just e-Cigs opened on Cypress St. in downtown Walnut Creek and they have now closed.
1403 N. Main St, Walnut Creek
Back in October I noted that Jos. A. Bank was coming to downtown Walnut Creek on N. Main St. where Day One used to be and the signage is up now. They also have a downtown Lafayette location on Mt. Diablo Blvd.
In time for Valentine’s Day, See’s Candies has relocated within Broadway Plaza where The Walking Company used to be directly across from Neiman Marcus, next to Starbucks and Lucky Jeans.
Back in October I noted that True Religion Jeans was temporarily relocating in Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek due to the redevelopment plan and the signage is now up in their new location across from the fountain and a few stores away from Lucky Brand Jeans.
The home decor store Filthy Gorgeous is vacating their cozy Broadway Plaza location next to Boudin Bakery and is having a 50% off sale. Not sure where they’re moving but I hear Danville is a possibility.
1414 N. Main St, Walnut Creek
Opening February 1st in downtown Walnut Creek, Consignit Couture signage is now up.
The French clothing store Lacoste is closing their Broadway Plaza location this Friday and in its place Tesla will be opening a temporary showroom. I’ve been noticing more and more Teslas on the road lately so it makes sense they would open a location in Walnut Creek. According to the Walnut Creek Tesla web page a new service center is on the way as well:
