The activewear clothing store lululemon has finally reopened in their previous Broadway Plaza location in Walnut Creek. They were temporarily located where GAP used to be, around the corner. The tree design is now gone, replaced with a shimmering metallic look, in an expanded space to the right, where Nespresso used to be.

In September, we learned that Chanel would be coming to Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek, and their “Opening Spring 2023” signage is now up. Check out their online selection here.
Lafayette Mercantile
After ten years at Lafayette Clocktower, Venture Goods is relocating down the block to Lafayette Mercantile where Jos. A. Bank used to be. Check out their online shop here. If you’re in the area make sure to drop by and check it out because it has the most amazing selection of clothing and goods and the store design is top notch as well. I look forward to checking out the new location in March.

I was surprised to see the distinctive Cuesta Antiques truck by Whole Foods at Plaza Center in Lafayette, and sure enough, in the back is Cuesta Antiques, relocated from their former spot in La Fiesta Square.
1545 Locust St, Walnut Creek
Thanks to a reader for sending word that the sneaker store Bottom Bunk Sneaker House opened recently in downtown Walnut Creek where Buon Vino used to be. It looks like they sell highly sought after-market sneakers. Only one shoe is displayed, shrink-wrapped, with a QR code that can be scanned for the price. According to their Insta, it was founded by an ex-inmate and is, “focused on providing resources for formerly incarcerated people that are in need of direction.”

Thanks to a reader for pointing out that Louis Vuitton, the French luxury fashion brand, is coming to Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. According to a source, this will be a pop-up shop with a six month lease to test the market, with the option to extend to a full year. Check out their online selection here.

The lingerie shop Soma has closed at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. In July, we learned that Canadian teen retailer Garage would be coming to this spot. Broadway Plaza still has three other lingerie stores: Third Love, Victoria’s Secret and Intimissimi (eventually).
