Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek

Last month we learned that cycling studio SoulCycle would be opening this month in Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek, and their opening day is this Thursday, August 11th.

From a press release:

SoulCycle Walnut Creek will feature a 57-bike studio, home to the signature SoulCycle workout. The 3,350 square foot studio will also house an expansive lifestyle boutique selling SoulCycle’s original performance and athleisure clothing collections. Additional rider amenities include full men’s and women’s locker rooms with two showers each and multiple bathrooms.

SoulCycle Walnut Creek is located in Broadway Plaza at 116 Broadway Lane, Walnut Creek, CA 94596.

SoulCycle classes in California cost $30.

Last week the women’s clothing store J.Jill has relocated to a third location on Broadway Plaza Lane in downtown Walnut Creek. Previously they were located on the main strip and before that they were located around the corner near the fountain.

See’s Candies has been open for a while now in their new Broadway Plaza corner spot next to Nordstrom. My favorite is the butterscotch lollipop. What’s your favorite?

Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek

Over the weekend Cleveland-based Arhaus furniture store opened their first Northern California location in Broadway Plaza and it’s situated on two floors in a massive spot on the backside of the plaza Broadway Ln. in downtown Walnut Creek. When I first entered it reminded me of Restoration Hardware in certain respects. The selection is enormous with an expansive second floor which connects directly to the parking garage. As you can see in the above photo, the women’s clothing store White House | Black Market has relocated to the backside of Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek. They were originally located there several years ago before the redevelopment began.

Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek

The cycling studio SoulCycle will be opening their first East Bay location when they open next month in Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek near the Macy’s parking garage.  This means that downtown Walnut Creek will go from having no cycling studios a few years ago to three. In 2014, Cycle Scape opened on Mt. Diablo Blvd,  and FlyWheel opened last year on N. Main St. Find out more about SoulCycle classes here.
