Drift Co, the Pleasanton-based clothing boutique opened their second location over the weekend in Blackhawk Plaza in Danville. Specializing in “curating the best brands in swim, active and travel lifestyle”, they have a really nice selection of clothes and accoutrements. Check out their offerings on their website here.

A few months ago we learned that the pond at Blackhawk Plaza in Danville was drained and the ducks did not look happy at all. Happily, when I stopped by recently the pond has been refilled and the ducks look like they’re having a blast. Yay! 🙂

The golf club fitter, builder, and retailer Club Champion has opened a new location in Blackhawk Plaza in Danville where Patrick James used to be. Check out their grand opening special here for 50% off a full bag fitting or 33% off all other fittings, good until June 30th. A couple of years ago Blackhawk Burger opened in Blackhawk Plaza in Danville and now San Francisco-based Beep’s Burgers will be opening in this spot soon. A few years ago Beep’s in San Francisco got a new owner according to this interesting article from The Ingleside-Excelsior Light. Has anyone eaten at Beep’s? Soo Dance Company & Academy has relocated to Blackhawk Plaza in Danville in a great spot next to the Blackhawk Museum. They offer classes to people of all ages, including adults. Check out their classes here.
Wandering around Blackhawk Plaza in Danville and you’ll probably see kids feeding the ducks as they waddle in the pond stretching throughout the inside of the plaza. A sign at Draeger’s grocery store explains that any register sells a 6 oz. package of, “unprocessed cracked corn, millet and flax” for $1.95.
