Earlier this month, we learned that The North Face would be coming to Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek, and they have now opened. According to an employee at the store, this is a temporary pop-up location (only one floor) but they plan to eventually move to a permanent location somewhere in Broadway Plaza. After six years, the athletic club Life Time has finally opened at Broadway Plaza, right across from Macy’s in downtown Walnut Creek. At over 76,000 square feet, as expected, this place is massive! My favorite parts I got to preview was the sauna, cold plunge pool, rooftop pool, basketball/pickleball courts and cycling studio. They even have a full size salon on the lower level! If money were no object, I would definitely join this club as there is so much to do. If you’re in the area, definitely drop by LifeCafe for a refreshing drink. Broadway Plaza, Walnut Creek
A couple of years ago, we learned that the entertainment center and restaurant Pinstripes would be coming to Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, and their “Coming soon” signage is now up. According to their Walnut Creek web page, look for a fall/winter opening and sign up for a “complimentary wood-fired pizza or flatbread, invite to our grand opening party, plus early access to reservations.” Check out sample menus here.

In June, we learned that Life Time preview center opened at Broadway Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek and according to their web page, they plan on opening September 22nd, across from Macy’s. As you can see in the above photo, they have a large sculpture right above the front entrance way. Note the LifeCafe to the right. Check out their menu here.
