Last November, we learned that StretchLab opened a pop-up center at Lafayette Clocktower and they have now opened in a permanent spot around the corner.

In April, we learned that Vintage Vida, featuring “authentic MCM furniture & décor, art, vinyl records, clothing and gifts” would be coming to Lafayette Clocktower and they have now opened. Check out their Insta page here. Very cool stuff, if you’re in the area, definitely check this place out!

The Breakfast Club, which opened at Ygnacio Plaza in Walnut Creek, is coming to Lafayette Clocktower where Patxi’s Pizza used to be.

It’s sad news that after six years in business, Bel & Bunna’s Books has closed at Lafayette Clocktower. According to a Facebook post, they were, “two months behind in rent and have been served with a pay or quit notice from the landlords”. In addition to facing competition from Amazon, the COVID-19 pandemic likely made things even more challenging for the store. Despite this, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to shop there with my children over the years.

Thanks to everyone who mailed that Patxi’s Pizza has closed at the Lafayette Clocktower. They had been open in this spot for over 11 years. Their Dublin and other locations remain open.

A couple of years ago, the women’s fashion boutique Luck relocated to the Lafayette Clocktower and their sister shop, appropriately named, Clover, has opened a few stores away, featuring sale items from Luck. Check out the Clover page here and browse Luck’s online selection here.
