The fitness studio TruFusion will be coming to downtown Walnut Creek in Plaza Escuela according to the latest leasing information. This is where Spirit Halloween and Sports Authority used to be so it’s quite large at over 15,000 sf.

Our bakery-cafe at 1140 Locust Street in Walnut Creek will permanently close its doors at the end of the day on Tuesday, May 22nd.
Of course, you can still get your favorites at one of our nearby bakery-cafes. We hope to see you soon.

Late last year we learned that Poke Bar would be coming to another downtown Walnut Creek spot, this time at Plaza Escuela, and their signage is now up.

In October we learned that a Joseph Abboud section would be opening within Men’s Wearhouse in Plaza Escuela in downtown Walnut Creek and it has now opened. Note the separate entrance that has been added on the Locust St. side.

Get ready for another poke restaurant coming to Walnut Creek. According to the latest leasing information a restaurant called Poke Bar is planning to open where Inge’s Footwear used to be. Is this where the frozen yogurt place Red Mango used to be several years ago? Although it’s not clear exactly which Poke Bar will be opening, check out this menu from a Poke Bar which offer franchises. Stay tuned…

Men’s Wearhouse in Plaza Escuela in downtown Walnut Creek is planning on building a separate entrance on Locust St. to their new Joseph Abboud storefront according to a Design Review agenda scheduled next month. 18|8 Men’s Hair Salon, which opened last January in Plaza Escuela in downtown Walnut Creek has now closed with much of their staff relocating to their Lafayette location a few stores down from the Cooperage. Check out their services in Lafayette here.
