7:00pm – 9:00pm | FreeBest-selling author Andy Weir visits the Lafayette Library to discuss his wildly popular book, The Martian. Joining Andy will be Dr. Pascal Lee, Chairman of the Mars Institute, which plans future human missions to Mars. NASA Scientist Dr. Margaret Race will moderate a discussion between Andy and Dr. Lee about the future of manned missions to Mars. Additionally, Andy will discuss production of The Martian film, coming in 2015 and starring Matt Damon.
