Trinity Center would like to invite you to their 3rd annual Gala on May 18th at 6:00 PM at Boundary Oak Golf Course in Walnut Creek. We offer vital basic needs and services to homeless and working poor in our community. Essential services include assistance with employment and housing. Trinity Center is supported in large part by the community, and our annual Gala is vital to ensuring that we can serve our homeless and working poor adult men and women in Walnut Creek and Central Contra Costa County.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception where guests will have a chance to mingle and bid in our silent auction, which features Giants tickets, golf packages and gift certificates to Walnut Creek’s best restaurants. Dinner will follow the reception. After which, guests will have the opportunity to bid on our live auction items, including a 7-night stay at the Manhattan Club Penthouse Suites ($1,000 for airfare included).

Our Gala is one of the primary funding sources for the Trinity Center. Your attendance will support those most in need, like Michael.

Michael first engaged in Trinity Center services in the summer of 2012, after being homeless for 11 years. Michael was invited to participate in Trinity Center’s first-ever Winter Shelter from December through February 2015. During his time at the Winter Shelter, member advocates at Trinity Center developed an individualized plan to address Michael’s needs- financial, housing, health, and personal needs alike. Thanks to the collaborative effort of Trinity Center’s member advocates, case management from the County’s Behavioral Health department, Shelter + Care’s housing assistance program, and Michael’s own commitment to improving his life circumstances, Michael was successfully housed this December in Walnut Creek. He is most excited to be living close to his teenage daughter and being able to shower when he desires.
